The wedding was spectacular -- at the Del Coronado Hotel! The ceremony was held outdoors in the courtyard and the reception in the Del's big ballroom. The San Diego weather was an predicted: cool-ish but sunny.

The Nygreen family gathered in San Diego at the Sheraton Suites hotel (at the Symphony). The Butlers had their suite; Maggie flew in from Oregon to take care of Tess. Kysa and Arin cam in to San Diego after doing some academic work in California earlier in the week. Leslie Schomaker arrived from New Hampshire. We missed the Austins, however, who stayed in Massachusetts with their 3 children.

In addition to the spectacular wedding, we made it a fun weekend with a day at the San Diego Zoo and another day on the trolley tour around the entire city. Nancy and Ted went running every morning in the pre-dawn darkness, so we really got to see the entire city!
